The Client is a UK based asset management company managing over $12bn in assets.

The Client approached TrueSwift in 2018 with the need of migrating 2,390 GB of data in the form of 13,500,000 messages from Proofpoint to Mimecast.

The Client maintains a message journaling environment for compliance purposes and as part of a transition from Proofpoint to Mimecast hosted solutions they needed to maintain their historic journal content.

About The Engagement

The Client engaged with TrueSwift to provide specialist consultancy services to migrate 2.5TB / 13.5M journal messages between hosted platforms. To facilitate the migration process TrueSwift designed, tested and implemented a robust extraction process to maintain the journal integrity.

A part of the design process, TrueSwift specialist consultants ensured that the migration would include historic journal content as part of the transition from Proofpoint to Mimecast. This was a clear requirement that needed to be adhered to due to the Client's own regulatory needs.
